ANTISOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER
(ASPD) is a condition characterized by a pervasive pattern of disregard for and the violation of the rights of other people. A person with this disorder will often use deceitfulness and manipulation to attain their own personal gain. They are often hostile and aggressive, and will lie and cheat to achieve those personal benefits. They are more likely to engage in theft and they generally have no remorse for what they have done or how they hurt others. A person with (ASPD) also has an increased risk for drug and alcohol addiction. The aggressive features of this personality disorder make it stand out among other personality disorders, as individuals with this disorder take a unique toll on society. The main signs and symptoms can include:
· Engage in hostile acts such as bullying and intimidating others
· Take little or no responsibility for their actions
· Blame their victims for causing their wrong actions
· Believe their victims are deserving of their fate
· Reckless disregard for the feelings or property of others
· Serious violations of standard rules of conduct
· Frequently acts on impulsive urges without considering consequences
· No genuine remorse for the harm they cause others
